BMD started in 2018 with two clients and no business plan. Just good work and honest conversations. No pitch deck, no investor, no growth strategy. One client referred another, and they referred another, and it turned into a real business.
Eight years later, we manage Google Ads and SEO for 50+ businesses across the country. Dental practices, ecommerce stores, local service businesses, and multi-location groups. No two accounts are managed the same way because no two businesses are the same.
The business is still 100% referral and organic. We’ve never run an ad for ourselves. We don’t cold call. We don’t send “I noticed your website” emails. We don’t sponsor conferences or buy booth space.
Almost every client we have is here because someone who worked with us told someone else they should too.

I’ve been in the web industry since the early 2000s and have had the opportunity to work in just about every position there is. Web developer, project manager, digital strategist, and upper levels of agency management. The truth is, I burned out once and almost quit the industry. I was working far too hard and no longer enjoyed what I was doing. But I had a family to provide for.
I was always passionate about the technical and analytical side of SEO and PPC. I genuinely enjoyed it. So I took on a couple of clients to help pay the bills at home. Before I knew it, I was being referred other clients and it accidentally became a business. It was never my intention to start an agency. I despise 90% of agencies and didn’t want to be one of “them”.
As BMD grew, I’ve kept that passion for what I do. I really enjoy getting to know our clients and doing what I can to help their business succeed, even beyond what we’re paid to do. But I don’t lead from a corner office. Chances are, you’ll talk to me regularly, and when you have questions about your account, I’ll probably know the answer because I’ve been in it in the last few days.
